Maddie Ward, and Mackenzie Rafferty have been named as ESPNHS Top 25 Attackers. Maddie attends Spring Ford and will play for U. Mass. Mackenzie attends Downingtown East and will play for Delaware.

On Notre Dame's video channel, Allie Murray talks about playing on the US U19 national team and for Notre Dame. Allie, a graduate of Downingtown East, led the Cougars to a fifth place finish in the District 1 championship and the quarter finals of the PA Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament.

She has taught me so much about lacrosse, being a team player and competitor. We first meet in third grade on the LYA field. Her time and energy, along with her husband Mike, has taught me how to play a sport that I will now be playing on a college level. What a wonderful gift. I would also like to thank my brother, Taylor, for spending countless hours in the backyard playing lacrosse and teaching me moves. Through his love of the game he has developed me as a player and encouraged me along the way. I am so excited about my college decision and playing lacrosse for the next four years!"
